Schools In The Present-Day Society Are Constantly Shifting

Schools in the present-day society are constantly shifting and growing to implement first rate methods in their schools. Before a particular school is allowed to include a program to their curriculum, they must first demonstrate stable evidence that proves the new method will work. A new curriculum that schools are aspiring to take effect is inclusion in the daily classroom. Schools are hopeful of the benefits and advances that a program like this could bring. The enactment of inclusion is heavily connected by all students, teachers and parent’s attitudes whether they are voiced positively or negatively. Even though inclusion in classrooms is growing rapidly, there is little data to support its effectiveness. Inclusive education and mainstreaming general and special education educators together pr ovides the greatest benefit for regular and special education students. The concept of inclusion can be best represented by the term, social justice. Inclusion itself produces equality, recognition and new opportunities as well does it protest practices that advance beliefs of exclusion. Ford who is a psychologist in early special education states in Education Students with Learning Disabilities in Inclusive Classrooms what the appropriate teaching techniques are with a child with a disability. Ford says the best methods are: differentiated instruction, co teaching, interventions, and pre-mediated instruction. The term pre-mediated instruction means systematically teaching children without disabilities the way to engage in proper social interactions with a child who does have a disability. That way you can pre-plan the daily activities that would adhere to each child s capabilities. To practice inclusion in schools will represent and boost the term, social justice.
